Models (14–16): Human effects on the environment
Global heating

When designing stock and flow models, you should shape the structure to what students would expect. And, where possible, add concrete elements. I think this model exemplifies these rules well and has proven to be a very successful model in my classroom.
Eutrophication

This model begins at the top left and finishes with the positive feedback loop. It’s a lesson I describe in Difference Maker.
